Grotto Experience Postponement
After taking all aspects into consideration we have sadly decided to postpone our Christmas Experience this year due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 and the fact that it is impossible to maintain social distancing in such a confined space.
We appreciate this decision may seem very early. As you can imagine and understand, the experience takes a great deal of planning and building. It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to postpone our 2020 event.
The safety of all our customers and staff must come first and of course the big man himself, Santa, and his elves. He already has a massive undertaking of travelling to every country in the world without the thought of quarantining.
We very much look forward to hopefully returning to the grotto returning next year with a bigger and better experience.
We are very sorry this could not be better news after the year we have all had and we hate to disappoint the children and the rest of the family.
Christmas Shop Opens this weekend!
We are opening our Christmas shop instore from the 12th September and we are really excited to see what you think. In a different approach to previous years our shop is located within the main shop and certainly looks beautiful.
We are also doing everything we can for people who are still not comfortable with travelling out to see us by offering our full store offering online for home delivery within 3-5 days.
All of our deals and promotions are available to see online with more added daily. Another email will be sent before the weekend highlighting some of terrific offers this year. Spend £50 or more instore or online for Free Delivery.
Coffee and Cake!
We are also looking forward to opening our Kitchen back up on the 1st October as a takeaway for the Winter and will include our incredible Lavazza Coffee and beautiful range of homemade cakes and snacks. The takeaway will be available for all customers and we have added numerous extra benches around the store as well as some cover outside of our Christmas Shop.
Thank you all so much for following the guidelines whilst instore shopping with us, and we will continue to follow these guidelines until it is updated further. For now:
• We thank you for wearing your masks instore and sanitising your hands and the trolleys when appropriate.
• Payment remains as contactless as possible by only taking card payments. Cash payments will not be accepted.
• We are not accepting HTA Gift Cards or Vouchers.

My partner and I would both like to visit can we?
Yes of course, but to maintain social distancing you will need a trolley per person to help maintain the distancing rules.
Do I need a trolley?Yes, you will need to use a trolley to help maintain a safe 2m gap between all our customers.
Can I bring my children?
Please consider all government advice before travelling, of course children are welcome, but please ensure that a 2m gap is kept between yourselves and other customers.
Is the compost drive-thru open?
Yes, the compost drive-thru is open. We do have a concise range of products available for at least the next couple of weeks. To see what is in stock please visit www.almondsbury.co.uk Payment will be card payment only.
I am shielding, can I still order online?
Yes, from Monday 18th May, our online ordering will re-open with key offerings. You will also be able to order over the phone 01454 457300.
I am still waiting for my delivery, what do I need to do?
The team are processing all orders at the moment and we will be ensuring these are delivered or out of stocks delivered within 7 days.

Gift Vouchers/Gift Cards
We will only be accepting our Almondsbury Gift Card instore until further notice. We will not be redeeming or accepting HTA National Garden Centre Gift Cards and Vouchers instore or online.
Current vouchers/Afternoon Tea packages
We will of course extend the date on these vouchers due to expire between March 24th 2020 and July 31st 2020
