IT/Data Administrator

Almondsbury Garden Centre are seeking a Full time IT/ Data Administrator to help manage their EPOS System and solve IT issues The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a great knowledge of excel, have a strong data background with an interest in marketing, have a good telephone manner, good written and spoken English.

This is a varied role that will include working on:

  • Company EPOS System
  • Company Purchase Order System
  • Managing Web Content
  • Managing Content Management System

The experience that the client is looking for this role includes:

  • Proven office-based experience
  • Strong educational background
  • Confident with using IT packages
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive and confident using initiative

Kitchen Supervisor/Team Leader

We are looking for a dedicated Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our ever growing team.  Our Assistant Restaurant manager ensures that “The Kitchen” and its team operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining their reputation and ethos. They must coordinate a variety of activities, Including Front of House, Back of House and Housekeeping. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the daily business performance of “The Kitchen”, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service.

 

You will be well skilled and be able to combine day-to-day operational activities, such as rota organisation and ordering. You will also liaise with the Marketing Department to ensure new ideas are thoroughly executed.

 

You will have been involved in a large operation and be used to large numbers of covers per day as well as providing front of house assistance and used to managing people.

 

This role within our business is fast-paced, highly demanding and very rewarding.

 

Within your job role the following tasks will be carried out:

 

Business activities:

  • Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
  • Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales.
  • Providing support for the kitchen team, and managing the department in absence of the Restaurant manager.

 

Front-of-house:

  • Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
  • Managing staff and providing them with feedback.
  • Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards.
  • Meeting and greeting customers and organising table reservations.
  • Recruiting, training and motivating staff.
  • Organising and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff.

 

Housekeeping:

  • Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
  • Checking stock levels and ordering supplies.
  • Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required.
  • Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate

Front of House Supervisor/Team Leader

We are looking for enthusiastic team leader with a Love of Food and Coffee for our restaurant “The Kitchen” at Almondsbury Garden Centre.

We are looking for self-motivated individual who are looking for their next opportunity within the catering world. A chance to lead the Front of House team where ideas are encouraged whilst delivering outstanding customer service.

If you are looking for Day time hours and have experience of working in a busy food based environment and would like the chance to work with our successful team.
